Objective: Safe operation and maintenance of concrete lifting equipment.

Discussion Points:

- Perform pre-use inspections on pumps, hoses, and other machinery. Replace or repair any defective components immediately.

• Hoses and Fittings:

  • Check all hoses for cracks, kinks, or leaks.

  • Ensure fittings are secure and properly sealed.

• Pumps and Valves:

  • Test pumps for smooth operation and inspect valves for proper opening and closing.

• Mixing Gun:

  • Clean the mixing gun thoroughly to remove any cured material.

  • Confirm that spray nozzles are clear and unobstructed.

• Filters:

  • Replace or clean filters to ensure proper flow of materials

- During Use:

• Mixing and Application:

  • Ensure the mixing gun is aligned correctly for thorough blending of components.

  • Apply foam in layers, allowing each layer to expand before adding more.

• Monitor Equipment:

  • Watch for pressure fluctuations or clogs and address them immediately.

• Temperature Management:

  • Keep materials and equipment within the recommended temperature range to avoid improper curing or poor adhesion.

- Respond to equipment malfunctions by safely shutting down the machine and reporting the issue.
